  Tornado was witnessed by many people within Dufferin County. Many properties had severe damage. Some near misses for survivors. Investigators contemplated giving F2 rating. Direction: 250°; Damage Cost: Estimated $500,000

• Centralia (1986)
  Several pilots reported seeing a tornado with debris being picked up. No damage was reported. Direction : 225° (SW-NE)
• Windsor (1986)
  Multiple witnesses to tornado with 1 observing touchdown in Jackson Park in central Windsor. A dark green sky and heavy rains were reported also with the storm. Direction : 315° (NW-SE); Insurance claims at >$25,000
• Sarnia (1986)

• Curries (1986)
  Tornado was observed just south of Woodstock doing damage on the ground. Many properties in the Curries are had significant damage. Power lines downed. May have been F2? Damage cost: N/A, likely >$100,000
• Elphin to Drummond Centre (1986)
  A long track and somewhat sporadic tornado touched down around 5pm near Elphin in western Lanark county. Conflicting reports as to exact track. Reports of tornado at Mississippi Lake and east of Perth. One note says that Mississippi Lake is 13km west of Perth, when it is actually NNE. Official track length may be incorrect. Track Length : 30-40km (18.6-24.9mi), Direction : 240° (WSW-ENE), Damage Cost: N/A, likely $100,000s or more
• Hindon Hill to Maynooth (Haliburton City) (1986)
  Noted as a “major tornado” leaving an 80km path of extensive damage and destruction. Originally rated an F3 but downgraded in 2005 to F2 “due to the fact that the cottages that are severely damaged are of questionable construction”. Although it was downgraded, a large stone house (cottage) was destroyed to down to the foundation which would question the F2 downgrade. Another large house was also destroyed in a similar way. Initial reports confidently came in as F3. Time listed as Between 14:15 and 14:30PM, Track Length : ~80km (49.7mi) [measured waypoints ~75km], Direction : 240° (WSW-ENE), Damage Cost:An early and “conservative” estimate of $4,000,000
• Carlisle (1986)
  Funnel clouds were witnessed and photographed in the Flamborough area. Letter written to EC from spotter. The time of this event is between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. Direction : ° SE
• Harcourt (1986)
  This may have been part of the final blow of the Haliburton county long track tornado. Topo maps do indicate a Fishtail Lake but not a Fishtail Creek where this event occurred. May have been a mixup. The Haliburton tornado track was indicated as passing about 5km north of Fishtail Lake and directly over Benoir Lake which has according to topo maps, about 80 cottages surrounding it. If it did pass over Benoir Lake, it likely would have been indicated by quite a bit of damage, although it may not have been as populated back in the day. Shape : N/A sky was like midnight

  Eyewitness to tornado stated the sky turned black very quickly and saw whirlwind tear off shed roof. Direction : N/A° Storm moved SE-NW, Shape : N/A, dirt, gravel, and debris was seen swirling like a dust devil, Damage Cost: N/A, likely $1,000’s

  Tornado witnessed by local farmers picking up dirt and debris. The sky turned black very fast according to those in the area. likely <$1,000

  Funnel cloud was spotted near the SW corner of Sturgeon Lake and called in. Later, an investigation found there to be a selective damage path which made to confirmation of tornado complete. Direction : Estimated 240° (WSW-ENE); Damage Cost: Likely $1,000’s
